Raya 2006!

Yey this raya is the first time aspa and I beraya as husband and wife.. and not to forget to the coming little one(ye le walaupun tak kuar agi..die still dpt rase the rendang and ketupat i ate masa raya ari tu..hehe).
Raya tahun ni balik semenyih je sbbnya due date da dekat sgt..takut kang terdeliver kat tgh highway pule...tak ke haru nanti... 
So mungkin lepas pantang mungkin baru balik kedah, or tgk la lepas baby da kuat sket nak travel jauh2 then only kami balik kampung.Lama gak aspa tak balik sana so mak die kinda missed him.Iye le anak lelaki sulong and anak kesayangan mak le...
Anywayyss, raya tahun ni agak bersederhana, baju raya pun tak buat...just pakai baju maternity yg beli ari tu je..aspa pun tak buat baju melayu..tak sempat..sbb byk pikir pasal brg2 baby sampai last2 minit nak buat org da tanak amik tempahan..nak beli takut tak suit aspa pule.. soo pakai je le baju tahun lepas...tak kisah le..since we have other priority...the money goes to the little one. Next year boleh la beli baju boria...aku, aspa and si kici...hehe.
Aspa harap sgt the baby kuar on 7/11 so that senang nak ingat tarikh (7-eleven) haha..aku kalau boleh biar le kuar cepat2...da tak larat nak tunggu suspen and to see the kici..ari2 waiting for the tanda2 nak beranak tu...tapi so far tade pun.Oh well...guess we have to wait a liitle loonger... 
Sempena bulan yang mulia ini, kami ingin mengucapkan Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri dan semoga lebaran tahun ini lebih bermakna buat kita semua.Semoga amalan kita selama ini diterima oleh Allah swt..insyallah.Kami ingin memohon maaf sekiranya ada tersalah kata, terkasar bahasa, tersilap makan dan minum.Semoga kita semua dapat memaafkan antara satu sama lain.Perkara2 lalu harap dapat kita lupakan dan let us start with new chapter and hopefully everything is going well as expected. Yey Hollywoodddddd!
Perjalanan dari Venice beach to Hollywood terasa cam jauh je. Tapi aku tgk tak sampai pun 100miles(i think..hehe). Seperti biasa, dengan sesat2nya kami sampai hollywood da nak petang. Lepas check in at our budget hotel, kami terus hantar kereta sewa kami di LAX(airport) and we traveled by public transport from that moment. Kat sini public transport da ok. You can have a day pass for only USD3 aje..and boleh naik all the metro links(train and bus) all day loongg. Very2 cheap.Sbb kalau kat Sydney, day pass die AUD15. Which more expensive le..tapi kat Sydney you can naik all the buses, trains and also ferries. Which i think reasonable gak le...
So lepas hantar tu, kami naik metro link(train). Sooo efficient sgt public transport di US ni, dorang tandakan railing dengan colors. So you travel from one color to another to get to your destination. So we were told(zura le yg cite..hehe), kalau lalu kat metor link blue color..berhati2 sket...sbb kat situ black areas. Even masa kami drive pun, dan kalau kami berhenti tanya for direction, the locals selalu nasihatkan jgn sekali2 masuk black areas..sbb we dun want any trouble. So black area ni..you know la..camne tempat die..ramai org luar..mexican...blacks...dan tah la...aku sebenarnye tak faham ape yg dimaksudkan ngan black area. So whenever kami lalu blue color metro link...kami kinda takut2...tapi sebenarnye tade ape.Just dun travel by public transport after 8pm le...
So kat hollywood best sgt dan kami visit byk gak tempat. Situ ada mcm2 museum, ripley's believe it or not, world guinnes record, erotic museum(hehe jgn main2..siap boleh buat museum ni..really cool..haha), kodak theater, wax museum and mcm2 agi. So kat walk of fame ni, best sgt sbb apa tetiba kau boleh nampak pedang ada kat sebelah kau, sbb apa ada zorro kat situ.. tetiba kau boleh nampak spiderman merangkak2 kat jln tu..haha..pastu kau bleh nampak awek shrek...goofy...dan byk2 agi character2 movies.Boleh ambil gambar ngan dorang and give some tips!
Kat situ byk gak unofficial performers.And some of them were really good. Bare in mind, hollywood ni tempat ordinary people to become extraordinary people! So these people buat performance dgn harapan some producer or someone famous will notice their talent and bawa dorang masuk ke hollywood world! Or perhaps some of them, just perform there just because of their passion!
So kalau tgk gambar kat atas tu, ada "Road to hollywood, how some of us got here" Which i really love it. Lepas tu kat situ, ada la tulis2 agi how some of the actor/actress become what they are now. Very fascinating facts and stories...and you will realize these people are just ordinary people but they have a DREAM and they found the opportunity and they make full use of it! and now they have become extra ordinary people.
Sebelum kami sampai ke hollywood, kami lalu rodeo drive. kat sini la where all the famous actor/actress shop. Biasa la..expensive boutiques and everything. Kami ada lalu gak area beverly hills...rumah lawa2..
So as a whole, masa aku duk sana, and bebila mlm2 tgk TV, tgk movie or something, bile ada kuar tempat area california...aku mcm...hey i know this place...i know where exactly this place is...so cam best la...hik get what i mean?Sbb kebanyakan cite or movie took place at LA area...and it felt good to know where the place is exactly....really awesome experience!!!
I think this is the best trip so far. Walaupun rasa cam kejap..but we gained a lot! I mean really a lot!A real life experience! Ada org pernah cakap ngan aku..."why do u watch TV and watch other peoples' experience?Why don't u switch off the TV and be in it? Experience the real thing so that u live your life to the fullest!We only live once. So make the best out of it!"
Bila aku fikir balik...yep that's very true.Why do we have to look/listen into others experience and fascinated with their stories while you yourself can experience it urself?
So our next trip will be Sydney again!This May. Aku nak pi factory outlet kat Sydney pule le. Joe and zura kate Sydney is much cheaper than US.Yesss laaa!the currency tells that.Currency agi murah beb. Dia kata ada new place ..selain dari Birkenhead..Fuh!Tak sabar nak pi Sydney pule...Tak abis unpack agi...fuh! Penat bagi really have fun!
Bulan 8 we're going to Kota Kinabalu pule...nak panjat gunung kinabalu and at the same time nak attend wedding best friend Aspa, Supir. And dalam bulan 11 perhaps we are going to another country agi...hopefully!!!Aku harap South Africa...hehe dunno yet..belum confirm...tapi i think this year is the best year...sbb byk sgt trip!!Mungkin rezeki lepas kawin...kot hehe..byk le pule honeymoon this year... 
anywaayyysss, any updates on the trip i'll story2 later..byk benda aku nak kejarkan ni...keje and also business...well back to normal life kan!

So on the 8th of March kami bertolak dari Anaheim pergi ke beaches. Not very keen about beaches sebenarnye, tapi the view was nice. So it was ok.
First kami pergi South Port beach, ambil2 gambar lepas tu terus bertolak ke Venice beach. kat Venice beach ni, kami duduk kat budget accommodation je. But it was a gret experience. Kalau gi budget inn ke ape ke, we tend to meet travellers from around the world. So, kat Venice beach, kami siap lepak2 ngan these travellers and listen to their fascinating stories. Some of them are very young dan ada tu yg da tua pun still travel. Kekadang tu sorang2. Tapi kebanyakan yg travel more or less sama baya ngan kami. Ada tu travelling has become their passion and sometimes we wonder how this people dapat the money to travel all around the world. Sbb bare in mind, to go from a country to another, relly gonna cost u a lot of money. With the different currency ..a lot of things need to be taken into consideration.
Well, rupa2nya, mcm dorang ni dapat duit is dgn hanya bekerja di tempat di mana2 tempat dorang tinggal. So jgn terkejut le tetiba ada japanese ke chinese ke..pegi vacuum bilik kau, or bawak beg kau, sbb dorang duk situ free tapi kena keje kat situ just for the sake of the accommodation and extra money to save utk travel to another place. Hehe amazing kan?
Kalau duk kat budget hotel ni, mmg bilik die kici that's why dorang sediakan lounge and kitchen where you can cook ur food. So kat sini la all the travellers meet up and berkenalan and tell their stories. Really fun!
So mlm tu kami tido dgn nyenyak lepas check in kat hotel tu. The next day, we rented rollerblades and bicycle and jln2 from Venice beach to Santa Monica..and the view was superb pagi2 tu!Well it actually has been my dream to skate along a beach. Sbb selalu tgk kat TV org skate or cycle di tepi beaches...mcm fun je tgk. So finallly, i managed to skate along the 25miles beach(Venice to Santa Monica). Well a dream came true!hehe...lovely!
Lama gak tak rollerblade...i think the last time before aku masuk MMU kot...roller blade aku kat umah pun da pecah2...hehe..so one the reasons aku tak skate agi le.. . So kekok gakle masa mula2 nak blade tu. Nasib baik tak tergolek je..kalau tak malu je depan omputih tu...haha.Lepas tu da ok...and off we went!
Penat gileee...walaupun bape miles je aku skate...sbbnya da lama tak bersukan..haha..so biasa la..no stamina...asyik pancit je..so kesian aspa kena tarik aku dengan basikal die..hehe...cayang baby!
So dalam kul 11 pagi tu..kami check out from the hotel..and off we went to Hollywood!!!

Kat US ni sebenarnye byk sgt shopping outlet..factory outlet. So one of the outlets is at Cabazon. Gi Cabazon ni lama sgt. Campo sesat2 agi..hehe biasa la tak biasa jln sana. By the way, kat sana we rent a car. Quite cheap gak le.
For your info, California state ni besarrrr le teramatnya. Aku rasa hampir besar dengan peninsular mesia kot. So if you wanna go anywhere it's better for you to drive. Sbb kat situ, kalau bukan betul2 city, susah nak dapat public transport. So kat sana kami sewa kete for 2 days. Kami sewa 1 way trip.Maksudnya kami tak hantar balik kereta tu kat tempat kami sewa. Which cost a few a few dolars extra..tapi ok la..lebih convenient camtu.
So kalau korang nak tau, kat US ni dorang tak panggil highway cam kat mesia. They call it freeway, perhaps kat sana tade tol kot...hehe.yep there's no toll at all and kau boleh kuar masuk exit without having to risau about tolls..hehe.Dan mak datuk...lane die..siap ada 5-6 lanes!bygkan besar tak besar freeway dorang. Siap ada lane for car pool (maksudnya sape2 yg carpool more than 2 person boleh guna lane ni..which is best gak le). Walaupun lane dorang byk, tapi at certain time, freeway pun boleh jam. Heh bygkan la..jgn main2 US pun ada jam gak..ingat bile da kuar KL tade le nak mengadap jam, tapi sama je....
Freeway US ni pule pelik, sbbnya die ada exit di kiri dan kanan..mcm kat mesia...kalau highway kita..hanya ada exit ke kiri je kan?so kalau kite nak ke kanan, kite still exit to kiri and cross over a flyover to get to the right side kan?Tapi kat US, both side ada exit..so kinda confusing!..hehe..and lagi mengconfusekan, bawa sebelah kiri le..kelakar je masa drive tu...
Ok, back to shopping. Best gi Cabazon sbb kami nampak view of gurun apa tah aku pun tak sure hehe..from far. Lawa sgt. So bile sampai kat Cabazon, mak ai sejuk tak hingatnya sbb dekat ngan gurun kot. The view was so splendid! and the shopping pun mmg menarik gaks!haha..seriouslyyy murah gileee..menyesal je tak bawa duit byk sgt...cukup2 nak shopping for our family je.tapi seriously murah!Nasib baik dapat s pair of leather highcut timberland boots and very2 cheap price!love them!da lama sgt nak kasut cam tu..hehe.
So mlm tu kami pun pulang ke out hotel di Anaheim and we check out the next day!

Disneyland Anaheim!

Just got back from our honeymoon!hehe...best sgt!kami pergi on 4th mac and touchdown kat mesia on the 12th of march...fun and tiring at the same time. Tiring sbb flight je..bygkan campo transit and everything..lebih kurang 20 jam kami atas flight shj...nearly 1 day!journey masa balik lagi le lama sbb siap transit di korea, hongkong dan finally baru touchdown kat mesia...fuh!
tapi as a whole..mmg best sgt kali ni punye trip.
Kami duduk di hotel dekat sgt ngan disneyland..i think just 5 minutes walk from the park..and it is very convenient..kat situ mmg byk sgt hotel..and thank god kami dapat yg the nearest.
Finally, kami sampai ke the 1st ever built disneypark...which has been a dream of Walt Disney...Disneyland Anaheim is the first disneypark..dan aku ingat lagi cite walt disney ni, masa die mula2 dream to build a theme park, his own brother ridiculed him of his dream...tapi because of the power of dream, in 1955 he built it! Everything starts with a dream...well,by dreaming it won't cost u a thing...but not to dream will cost u something..ponder it..
It's a good thing this year is actually tahun yg ke 50 disneyland ditubuhkan. So were very fortunate to have witness the greatest Parade of Dream(which can only be seen i think every 50 years la kot..hehe), Fascinating fireworks (which tells you stories..mmg hebat fireworks pun boleh buat cite)..and loads more benda2 best sbb this year they celebrate their 50th year!
So basically, disneyland ni terbahagi kepada 2..disneyland park and disney california adventure. Kami dapat 2 days hopper pass..with access to the fast pass(kalau line panjang, ada satu lane ni utk kami ..so kami boleh potong je line..haha). Dlm disneyland park ni byk le pule land...mcm2 land..fantasyland, adventureland, toontown..and byk agi..aku pun tak ingat. So it's like u're in the katun itself. Kami da tahu rumah mickey and minnie camne...kami da tau umah tarzan camne..we actually met the princesses..we actually talked to a talking dustbin(jgn main2..ni bukan simulator ...tapi the bin can really respons to whatever ur ask it..dan boleh gerak2 agi..hehe).So it was fantastic!
Park kedua ialah California adventure. here you can find adventurous ride..cam roller coaster yg 360 degree punye tu, water rafting...hollywood terror building and loads more! Aku rasa 2 hari punye hopper pass pun tak cukup nak round kedua2 park ni...they were sooo big!bayangkan kami masuk park tu setiap hari dari kul 8 pagi sampai kul 9 mlm..still tak abis2 agi. Ada 1 agi Disneyland di Florida..which is 4 times bigger than Anaheim...tu aku rase 10 hari pun tak abis pusing...
We have a dream.Perhaps 5 years from now, when we have our own children, we definitely gonna bawa our children to this greatest park.Perhaps di Florida pule ke...hehe..Yes we definitely gonna do that. It's a theme park where you can go back to your childhood and it really give you the belief that dreams do come true...
Kami duk di disneyland for 4 days...lepas tu check out..and we travel up north! Check it out the next entry!

Happy Birthday!

A year older...my hubby bear this year da 27 tahun!!alemak terasa tua pula..tapi perangai cam bebudak kici agi..hehe.We had BBQ dinner the night before..done by me..teehee..and joined by Supir.Buat kat semenyih je..ingat nak buat slumber party ke ape..haha..sbb parents tade..so the house is all ours!.Best juga aku marinate..ayam, daging and also sosej je.Lenkali boleh buat agi..
The next day(30/1/05), aku buat surprise trip for my hubby bear. punya le terperanjat die..iye le..cadangnye nak hantar supir balik umah je pagi tu..tapi tup tap tup tap terus pi pangkor..hehe.Sebenarnye kami tak pi honey moon agi and aspa suggested at least masa CNy holiday ni we go to cameron for our PRE honeymoon(since we're going to the US next month for our honey moony)..tapi nak book kat sana..for sure le penuhkan. .maklum le CNY kan?So tatau nak pi mana. Nasib baik supir bagitau die nak buat adhoc plan nak pi pangkor. So i joined the plan.Adhoc sgt sampai tade nak bawa ape..even berus gigi pun lupa nak bawa..hehe SUpir sebenarnye decided to go Pangkor da lama..cume i was the one yg adhocly ikut...haha. So off we went!
Lepas pi pangkor...tido sana 1 hari, kami pi lata kijang..lepas tu mlm tu kami pi cameron juga..try our luck..mana le tau kalau walk in maybe ada bilik ke..tapi mmg sume hotel or rumah tumpangan fully booked!!dah le sampai cameron kul 2 pagi..sume hotel malas nak layan da..so kami tido dalam kete je..haha..the next day shopping2 sket..dan balik KL terus.
Fuuh!Vacation kat pulau, pantai, air terjun, hutan and gunung in 2 days!
Well to some ppl not the best celebration for a birthday, tapi i think ok gak le for an adhoc plan kan baby?hehe..
anyways, picture taken guna telephone nokia aspa...yg ni tak edit ape2 agi..so cam ok gak le outcome die?hehe...iye le..tak bawa kamera maaa.. gambar kat tempat lain tak sempat amik...just kat pangkor je..

We first met at Mrsm Muar back in 1996 and we meet again nearly 10 years after at Mines Beach Resort Serdang. We planned for nearly 5 months(tapi real preparation 3 mths je..) We had a great time..walaupun ramai yg kate kejap je(8pm - 12 am)..sbb jumpa balik kawan2 yg lama sangat tak jumpa.Some of us looked the same and some really did some major changes..
The food was ok..since i complained masa food testing ari tu tak sedap..hehe..and the decor was simple and nice. We had to chunk in our own decor(which is most of it)..and at the end of it..org2 Mines Beach Resort yg fascinated with our decor..teehee..siap amik gambar tu..dunno le dorang amik gambar tu mmg da routine ..or dorang amik gambar sbb dorang suke decor kami..
The function patutnya buat di garden..majlis di dalam taman yg dipenuhi rama-rama..tapi unfortunately...cuaca tak mengizinkan..and we had to move in  ..tapi we still had fun!
Byk juge kerja kena buat..but i'm very grateful to my team mates in making the event a success. Dorang seriously very cooperative and the best team mates ever! Thank u guys!Organizing event cam ni really consume time and energy and no doubt a bit of money. Lepas event tu, ada juge yg short sana sini..but hopefully we manage to cover everything. Sadly, ada bebudak ni yg boikot the reunion sbb dia kate the committee actually taking the profit out of this event. For your information, we didnt make anything out of it, hanya membaut kebajikan organizing this..sbb pikir nak jumpa kawan2 lama balik je.Aku tak faham la manusia ni...org buat baik pun salah..org buat jahat pun salah. Dia tak tahu the committee da habiskan their time and money pergi ke hulu hilir to make all the arrangement and all these ppl know is to complain and not contributing anything to it.
So some of the reasons dia tak join is as follow :
"The reason I refuse to go is because there is NO TRANSPARENCY in deciding the place of the event. Have they ever ask you where would you like the event to take place? NOPE. We have a Yahoo Group to reach majority of the members, why not use it?
To make it worst, the arrangement and decision was made by a single person, WITHOUT consulting the committee in the first place. Out of nothing, bang, there you got the dinner arranged. And when the committee could not even cast their votes, it shows no transparency let alone democracy. Even the project managers in The Apprentice would have consult and debate with their team members extensively before arriving at any major decisions. do not want! to speculate, but I trust the RM99 you are paying for is NOT the REAL cost of organizing the event per person. If you want to do any charity there are lots more deserving people out there. Yang kat Mid Valley tu takde lah sampai malam. Nak balik awal pun takpe. As for the restaurant, let us have your say. "
Well, for his information, we have been surveying a few places and we came out with this idea because it was convenient in many ways. Surely, if the comittee did not like the idea, they can always suggest something else. But bare in mind, at that point of time, we had only 2++ mths to go before the actual event took place. Which didnt give us much time. Sbbnya kalau nak tunggu, surely the event tak jalan. So we berpakat with a FEW ppl and we decided that's the best and we make proposal to everyone. Not a decision made by a SINGLE PERSON!We thought that was the best at that time. sbbnya everyone didnt do any surveys at all and come to think of that..things will not happen if someone is not taking action ay?Anyway,kalau ramai sgt nak buat decision ni..heh i dun think we are going anywhere...(talking from experience..mostly from meetings at the place i work..hehe)
Rm99 yg dibyr ari tu oleh everyone pun sebenarnye tak cukup...heh..tu le like i said, some ppl only know to complain and do not want to cooperate and find solutions to the problem..Erk..apprentice?Gee..too much watching TV eh?Haha..guess you didnt have other better things to do ay?
Well, ape2 pun..ramai juga yg datang walaupun die boikot..What goes around comes around....tu je aku pikir.Tak perlu doakan benda buruk utk org.Just bless him.Kalau next time die sendiri nak organize the event, i would be much delighted and wish him success..
Anywaysss..aku lupa nak bawa kamera ari tu..tension gile..hehe..tapi tape le..at least ramai juge yg mengambil gambar time tu..

I explored corel painter 8 (since i have no work kat ofis ni....cam user friendly juge le....some of the effects senang nak buat..i like corel..tapi i think photoshop lagi powerful kot..dunno le..i'm not good at multimedia software thingy..heh..
